Expertise and Consultancies I Dissemination and Outreach I Publications

CVNI wants to make the lessons learned from its projects and studies widely available. CVNI offer the following Resources:

Expertise and Consultancies: CVNI will consider consultancies, workshops and other requests when appropriate. Taking a peoples based approach towards conservation management CVNI’s strengths lay in putting local peoples perceptions to practice. This approach is built on the philosophy that sustainable conservation objectives can only be achieved once they take into account peoples tangible and intangible values.

Dissemination and Outreach: A very important aspect of CVNI is the communication and dissemination of the lessons learned. Whether these are lessons on local participatory biodiversity conservation or their implications for international policy, CVNI aims to bring them out to those organisations that have need for them.

Publications: CVNI makes available publications, reports, guidelines and policy briefs for the purpose of strengthening nature conservation and biodiversity management in places where people matter.
