About CVNI

CVNI promotes the integration and communication of and cultural and spiritual values in biocultural conservation strategies.

CVNI’s strengths lay in putting local people’s perceptions to practice whilst working with Partners on collaborative projects in various capacities. Therefore CVNI's work is typically locally owned whilst enabling its integration and communication across local and global levels.
The work of CVNI takes place along two main themes. Integrating cultural and spiritual values into nature conservation Management & Policy and the management of Sacred Sites. Both themes run parallel at various Case Studies.
Based on an open and flexible approach to a range of cultural worldviews, perceptions and values CVNI supports collaborative projects and develops a body of Case Studies around the world.

With a strong believe in the power of sharing CVNI stimulates multidisciplinary and intercultural ways of working and learning. Therfore CVNI makes available Publications and disseminates and communicates “best practice” and “lessons learned” as well as News and Events.
