The Energy Challenge: a EU/US Dialogue

The University of Padua in cooperation with the Business School of the Wake Forest University (North Carolina) is pleased to announce the III edition of the Summer School on "International and European Law & Policy on Investments and Environment. The Energy Challenge: a EU/US Dialogue" (IELPIE).

The IELPIE Summer School aims at offering an in-depth view on the multifaceted legal and economic aspects related to international investments and their environmental impact. The program comprises lectures held by world-wide renowned specialists, workshops and seminars on selected topics and a final round table. All lecturers are leading experts from academia, state agencies, European institutions and the private sector. The provisional program is available in the Summer School website.

This III edition of the school is focused on green energy and is addressed to holders of three years University degrees (bachelor) in law, economics, political science and any other subject related to the School, as well as researchers, civil servants, internationally operating law firms and enterprises. The Summer School is also open to University students who have achieved at least 180 ECTS at the time of the application.

The Summer School will admit 30 participants. Information about admission requirements, how to apply and scholarships is available on the Summer School website or by contacting the Summer School Secretariat.
