The aim of the Nature Valuation & Financing Network (NV&F) is to stimulate the development and exchange of practical tools and best practice for the valuation of ecosystem goods and services, so that decisions concerning economic development are made with full awareness and understanding of all the costs and benefits involved.
	De Natuurkalender (Nature's calender) is a participatory observation programme that focuses on the monitoring, analysis, prediction and communication of the timing of natural lifecycle events, for example the start of flowering.
	Participatory Restoration of Ecosystem SErvices and Natural Capital (Eastern Cape) (PRESENCE) function as a collaborative North-South platform to  support and catalyse new and existing programs for the restoration of natural capital, ecosystem services and biodiversity. PRESENCE’s integrated approach factors ecological processes, socio-economic dynamics and governance arrangements in its guidance for  implementation management and restoration planning. PRESENCE is facilitated by Earthcollective in collaboration with diverse partners in South Africa.
	Spearhead Ecosystem & Landscape Services (SELS) is a long-term research program aimed at improving the understanding of the capacity of ecosystems and landscapes to provide services and quantifying the related benefits - socio-cultural, ecological and economic - at various scales to assist integrated planning, management and decision-making processes.
	The main objective of COST 725 is to establish a European reference data set of phenological observations that can be used for climatological purposes, especially climate monitoring and detection of changes.
	The Albufera Initiative for Biodiversity (TAIB) is an intensive study of a coastal wetland and sand-dune complex in Mallorca that aims to support environmental conservation at s’Albufera and more widely in the Balearic Islands through multi-disciplinary project work.
	Cultural Values of Nature Initiative (CVNI) is an action research project that aims to elicit cultural and spiritual ways of assessing and valuing nature, landscapes and ecosystems at a local level and promote their integration in management and policy.
	eyes4earth is an initiative for communicating and visualising the importance of "ecosystem services" and biodiversity to human health and well-being. By engaging diverse sectors of society, eyes4earth aims to  improve awareness and understanding of our everyday link with nature and what it does for us. eyes4earth is an EarthCollective initiative (see also eyes4earth weblog).
