Indigenous Knowledge Practices Database (World Bank) Database on indigenous/traditional knowledge and practices with nearly 300 entries and a series of monthly "IK Notes" which present in some detail, locally driven solutions to often complex issues.

The Conservation Commons Combined Search will search across the websites and databases of the Conservation Commons Partners. The Conservation Commons is the expression of a cooperative effort of non-governmental organizations, international and multi-lateral organizations, governments, academia, and the private sector, to improve open access to and unrestricted use of, data, information and knowledge related to the conservation of biodiversity with the belief that this will contribute to improving conservation outcomes.
World database on Protected Areas The World Database on Protected Areas (WDPA) provides the most comprehensive dataset on protected areas worldwide and is managed by UNEP-WCMC in partnership with the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) and the World Database on Protected Areas Consortium. The WDPA is a fully relational database containing information on the status, environment and management of individual protected areas.
Endangered languages database. This summary report includes one hundred and nine (109) language researchers reporting on 151 languages/dialects. Language researchers responded to our survey from Australia (3), Belize (1), Canada (8), China (1), Denmark (2), England (5), Germany (2), Hong Kong (1), Japan (1), Mexico (2), the Netherlands (5), Scotland (1), Spain (1), Venezuela (1), and the rest from the United States (75).

Indigenous Organizations Cultural Survival maintains a database of indigenous organizations from around the world. You can search by region, issue, or keywords. If you are part of an indigenous organization please join our database. If you know of an indigenous organization that does not appear in this database please submit information about that organization to Cultural Survival.
UNESCO database of best practicices on indigenous knowledge. This database is part of the MOST database of Best Practices, which concentrates on poverty alleviation. It contains examples of successful projects illustrating the use of local and indigenous knowledge in the development of cost-effective and sustainable survival strategies, covering Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America and Latin America & Caribbean. It also includes a geographical and thematic index and an index of institutions acting as indigenous knowledge resource centres.
Indigenous Knowledge Resources provides selected information and documentation presented by topic, geographical region, and source of information, such as projects, best practices, organisations etc. This is also the site to check the updated calls for research co-operation, forthcoming conferences etc.

CIFOR Multi Disciplinary Landscape Assessment Databases. Data for MLA in Indonesia, Cameroon, Bolivia and mozambique. The MLA set of methods was developed in Malinau, Kalimantan, through workshops, a series of pre-trials, a full-scale pilot study in two communities and finally application in five additional communities. It has been an explicitly multidisciplinary and collaborative process to define and collect the most useful or decisive information with regard to environmental impacts and local people's perspectives.
