PRESENCE

is a learning organisation which functions as an overarching platform to support and mainstream existing - and catalyze new - programmes for restoring lecosystem services and natural capital across the Eastern Cape and the Maputaland-Pondoland-Albany biodiversity hotspot.

Restoration of Living Landscapes: "Mainstreaming" and institutionalising restoration as a socially desirable, economically feasible and ecologically acceptable multi-functional land-use

Agenda

 - 5 to 7 new students will join the PRESENCE platform to conduct their master and internship (7 moths) to support STRP, Riparian restoration and Terrapi. Their skill will be from remote sensing, GIS, soil sience, restoration ecology to institutionalising and policy.

- Mike Powel (R3G) will present results of STRP at the Thicket Forum and SAWMA

Ignacio De La Flor Tejero,  Kim Janssen, Eliska Lorencova and Emmanuelle Noirtin will present (poster presentation) their results of their thesis at the Thicket Forum and SAWMA
