* 7th Research Framework Programme - The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) bundles all research-related EU initiatives together under a common roof playing a crucial role in reaching the goals of growth, competitiveness and employment; along with a new Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), Education and Training programmes, and Structural and Cohesion Funds for regional convergence and competitiveness. It is also a key pillar for the European Research Area (ERA). The broad objectives of FP7 have been grouped into four categories: Cooperation, Ideas, People and Capacities. For each type of objective, there is a specific programme corresponding to the main areas of EU research policy. All specific programmes work together to promote and encourage the creation of European poles of (scientific) excellence. Find all calls for proposals of the FP7 here.
EG-Liaison is the Dutch information point for all EU research and development programmes. Professional advisors provide Dutch organisations with information and advice and give several trainings to support organizations in the proces to submit a project proposal and to manage a project. * KB-contrafinancing - The demand for and the cover of contrafinancing funds have been matched in the contrafinancing database. In this database information on the projects, funding demands and opportunities, the matching and the project balances is made available and easily searchable.
* Eurobiodiversa - The European partners in the BiodivERsA network have joined efforts to organize and fund a Pan-European call for international research projects on biodiversity linking scientific advancement to policy and practice. Projects should address one or more of the following themes:
a)
Global change and biodiversity dynamics: impacts of climate change on biodiversity and impacts of biodiversity on climate change; impacts of habitat loss, of biological invasions, of ecosystem conversion and of landscape fragmentation on biodiversity dynamics; ecosystem responses to human-induced changes; conservation models to cope with impacts of global change. |
b)
Ecosystem functioning: understanding the role of biodiversity in ecosystem functioning and management of ecosystems at any level; especially exploited ecosystems in the context of global change. |
c)
Ecosystem services: identification, evaluation and integration of ecosystem services in project assessment methodology; use of economic tools for evaluating ecosystem services; and modelling the impact of public policies (e.g. economic policy, infrastructure, land use and maritime planning, renewable resource management, health etc.) and private sector strategies on ecosystem services; perception and conflict management. |
