SELS workshop - 17 January 2008

SELS workshop at the KB1 Congress

During the KB1 Congress on January 17th 2008, the concept knowledge innovation was contemplated and applied to the KB1 research, within the context of the current shifts between academic research and society. The ‘spearheads’ and the IPOP themes established by the board of directors were the focus of the afternoon session. The objective of these programmes is to provide new insights and solutions that are relevant to society.

The SELS workshop held at the KB1 Congress provided an overview of the current activities of the ‘spearhead’ and presented a number of proposals for (co)funding by SELS in 2008. The workshop was well attended and provided a good opportunity to exchange ideas on research needs, advance the science on Ecosystem and Landscape Services and explore possibilities for collaboration.

More information on the KB1 congress (including presentations) can be found on KB1 - Congress. Below you can view the presentations held during the SELS workshop.
